Mod of the Month – August 2025
Every great climber knows the reward is at the top. Since joining ModSquad in September 2022, Filipe B. has been climbing higher and higher. Now, he’s reached a new peak as our Mod of the Month!
Originally, Filipe joined ModSquad looking for something temporary after the pandemic closed the retail store he was managing. But what started as a short-term gig quickly turned into a fulfilling position. “I was drawn to the variety of projects and the chance to work with some of the biggest names in the industry,” he told us. Fast forward almost 4 years, and it’s safe to say ModSquad is lucky he stuck around!
Before joining ModSquad, Filipe worked in HR and retail management, gaining communication and problem solving skills that now shine through in customer support and moderation.
Today, Filipe is juggling 3 projects at once. From providing Tier 2 customer support and managing social media routing to tackling detailed tasks like data annotation and quality control, he brings a wide range of skills to the table. Whether assisting customers, ensuring accuracy, or keeping things running smoothly, Filipe approaches every task with reliability, positivity, and a sharp eye for detail.

And the funniest memory? When Filipe joined his first onboarding session, he could barely talk because he was too excited about working from home. Relatable!

Outside of work, Filipe keeps busy with the gym, rock climbing, video games, and even the occasional Dungeons & Dragons session.
