When we started in 2007, everyone else was securing their workforce with cubicles. We went Cubeless. And we had plenty to say about it.
There was no playbook for a fully distributed workforce handling sensitive data for the world's most demanding brands, with no walls to hide behind. The security tools of the day were built for physical offices and company-issued machines. So we partnered with industry leaders and built our own — an architecture that secures thousands of people across 90+ countries. We ran it for our own teams first; now anyone can use it.

What is Cubeless?+
Cubeless is ModSquad's patent-pending secure workspace for distributed teams. It manages identities for both humans and AI agents, enforces security at the software layer, and provides full audit trails — without the overhead of traditional virtual desktops. SOC 2 Type II audited and PCI-DSS attested.
How is Cubeless different from a VDI?+
VDI runs everything on a remote server — effective, but it adds infrastructure cost and latency. Cubeless enforces security at the software layer instead: the same centralized controls and compliance, without the slowdown. For distributed teams it's usually the better fit — and where VDI makes more sense, we'll say so.
Can we use Cubeless without ModSquad running our operations?+

What is Passless?+
Passless is ModSquad's SSO and passkey authentication product. It replaces passwords with biometric and device-based sign-in — easier to use and more secure. It has a free tier, so secure identity is within reach for organizations of any size.
