Mod of the Month – Aug 2026
What happens when you combine a love of storytelling, a passion for helping people, and the flexibility of working remotely? You get someone like Rebeca N. For nearly three years, ModSquad has given her the opportunity to hone her skills, support her teammates, and make a difference in the experiences of others — all while making room for the things she loves outside of work.
Let’s hear it for August’s Mod of the Month, Rebeca N.!
Rebeca first discovered ModSquad through a friend who had great things to say about a customer service project at ModSquad. What started as a recommendation quickly became a rewarding work experience. Since joining, she’s expanded her role from handling customer interactions to supporting peers, teaching advisors, and helping her team succeed.
Before joining ModSquad, Rebeca had a rather unique creative adventure: she helped an author adapt a novel into a play, collaborating with them to develop the script. That love of storytelling continues in her personal life, where she’s an avid reader, book collector, and even enjoys binding her own books. One title she can return to again and again is Cien años de soledad.
Her interests don’t stop at books. Rebeca loves watching and analyzing films, particularly psychological thrillers, with Nueve Reinas among her all-time favorites. And when she needs a little pick-me-up? She turns to the soundtrack from Disney’s Mulan and listens to “I’ll Make a Man Out of You.” 🎶
One of the things Rebeca enjoys most about her work is helping others feel more confident in their roles. One of her proudest moments came after a coaching opportunity with a Mod and then seeing them put her advice into practice and improve their performance shortly afterwards. It was incredibly rewarding and reminded Rebeca why she loves being there for others. Her passion for supporting people also shines through when welcoming new Mods. Rebeca has delivered Orientation to new team members and has collected plenty of funny moments along the way.

Rebeca is one of the kindest human beings I’ve had the pleasure to meet and work with. Her work is impeccable and she’s always willing to embrace change and try new things, which I love. I have so much to thank her for. If I’m doing well in Orientation, it’s because she is twenty times as amazing at what she does. She deserves the world!
I’m afraid written words aren’t enough to express just how amazing she is! When I joined the Orientation team, I knew very little, and Rebeca helped me understand every detail with incredible patience. She brings the same approach to working with the other team members too. She’s always calm, dependable, on time, humble, and an incredible team player. She doesn’t miss a beat!
Working with Rebeca has been a blessing. She’s helped make several processes easier and more efficient, always approaching everything with patience and dedication. Rebeca is always the first person to celebrate everyone else’s wins, so it’s about time we shine the spotlight on her! When it comes to staying organized and catching the small details that everyone else might miss, she is honestly one of the best. Over the past year, her mentorship has been a total lifesaver for me, especially when I first joined the team. I don’t think I would be as confident in my role today without her guidance. She always makes time to help when someone is stuck and is the ultimate go-to person on the team. Thank you, Rebeca, for your endless patience and for always having our backs!
For years, she’s been the one shining a spotlight on her teammates and celebrating their accomplishments, while her own incredible work often happens behind the scenes. Rebeca’s guidance and mentorship have been especially valuable to the Orientation team. She’s supportive, knowledgeable, and always on point, and I’m not sure where we’d be without her!
