Mod of the Month – October 2024
Once upon a ModSquad night, we met with Megan - a true delight. She told us from behind her screen, her love for all things Halloween. And so with lanterns alight, we bring to you a tale of true fright. A story for those without a Megan, who must endure this tale unshaken. For her skills are so renowned, that those who lack them are sure to frown. But despair not - ghosts and ghouls - for Megan B. rules her tools.
She conjures excellence. Her skills as a customer service agent are nothing short of magical. And her colleagues admire her so much you might think they’re under a spell.
Don’t be frightened. It’s just Megan B., our October Mod of the Month.
The key ingredients to Megan’s potion of success are ones we talk about often: empathy and passion. As an avid gamer working on gaming projects, she effortlessly interacts with customers. “Being a gamer means you understand the frustrations players might voice or issues they may run into when submitting a support request. I feel this helps me empathize with them and makes them feel heard,” Megan says.
But empathy alone doesn’t make a great agent. Megan has that tenacious drive to exhaust every option until she finds the answer to her customer’s question. Making grumpy gamers happy is her superpower. And the best way to make gamers happy is to actually solve their problem. “Often, I’ll take time to craft answers, research the ticket, and work at my own pace. Sometimes, I am like a dog with a bone and will go down a rabbit hole until I find the answer.”

Megan is an exemplary team member in every way! Her upbeat attitude always brings a smile to everyone who works with her and she is never afraid to help out with questions/issues. Her customer support is unmatched as she always goes the extra mile for her customers by paying close attention to every detail and adding a "special" flare to her responses. The client is incredibly impressed with her research and has thanked her for all the work she does for them. Not enough? She is also a powerhouse when it comes to learning! She wants to know everything there is to know about her projects and follows any opportunity to learn and grow. Megan’s taken on her tasks and responsibilities wonderfully and is constantly proactive and helpful, making it a pleasure to work with her.
When she’s not providing great support at ModSquad, gaming, or celebrating her favorite spooky holiday, Megan is an animation enthusiast and animal lover. She shares her life with her three pets: two cats named George and Crowley and a husky named Iroh. If those names sound familiar, it’s because they come from some of her favorite shoes, like Supernatural and Avatar the Last Airbender.
