Metaverse in the Mechaverse

Metaverse Mod Squad has been contracted by iloveRobots and Schell Games to assist in the successful launch of Mechatars!

We will be managing customer support and assisting with community management for Mechatars, the newest product line from iloveRobots. It is particularly exciting as it combines the best of online gaming and RC robotic toys, creating a new, interactive play experience we call “blended reality.” Mechatars are robot toys that connect the physical and online worlds through cloud computing. This means that whether kids play online or offline, their Mechatar evolves through Pokémon-style battles and missions in both worlds. They create their very own unique warrior through their individual play experiences. These robotic toys are great for boys ages 6 and up. What are Mechatars? They are a race of technologically advanced creatures that resemble robots that take on the form of animals found on Earth such as bears, wolves and dinosaurs. The Mechaverse is the dimension in which the Mechatars live and battle the Swarm – the greatest threat the universe has ever known! The Swarm consumes everything in their path that has any association to the flow of data and information. Thus, their existence in the Mechaverse is especially dangerous because they can take over the mind of a Mechatar, bending them to their own will.

Years ago, a group of human scientists discovered an inter-galactic rift between Earth and the Mechaverse. With the help of the Alpha tribe, they founded the Initiative, a top-secret society with one mission – to destroy the Swarm. We need recruits here on Earth to help battle against the Swarm. Recruits will work side by side with their Mechatars by helping them complete missions and battles.
