Eureka! ModSquad Strikes Gold at the Golden Bridge Awards®

ModSquad

It’s time to make room on the awards shelf, because ModSquad is adding some gold to the collection! We’ve been awarded Gold status in the 2019 Golden Bridge Awards for Achievement of the Year, Community Engagement. The designation comes in acknowledgement of the work ModSquad performs for Tourism Ireland, the organization that markets Ireland to travelers worldwide.

As noted in our recent case study, ModSquad works with Tourism Ireland on native-language community engagement in 21 separate markets. Local Mods deliver authentic human connections with potential visitors in each of these markets. This engagement helps build strong relationships with travelers and has paid off with ever-increasing tourist and revenue numbers, and an increase in Tourism Ireland’s social media followers.

That good work did not go unnoticed by those who hand out the Golden Bridge Awards. It’s an annual honor that recognizes outstanding performances at the world’s leading companies, both public and privately held. More than 160 judges from around the world selected the 2019 winners. Spanning a wide variety of industries, the award recipients were honored in a recent ceremony in San Francisco, California.

“It’s an honor to earn a Gold status for the Golden Bridge Award,” says Amy Pritchard, CEO and Founder of ModSquad. “It underscores the important role community engagement plays in business performance and growth. This recognition is even sweeter because we love our partnership with Tourism Ireland. It’s an honor to help grow their global community. We kindle their interest in Ireland and turn them from enthusiasts into visitors.”
