Giving Thanks: Project Managers Edition

ModSquad

If you follow our blog, you know we feature a new Mod every month and often rave about the fantastic work our worldwide network of Mods does for all our wonderful clients.  We also announce new additions to our leadership team and feature employees who’ve grown with the company over several years. During this season of gratitude, we want to take a moment to recognize the unsung heroes who keep all of our many ships afloat — our faithful, tireless Project Managers.

Our Project Managers are the glue that holds things together, and while it may be quicker to list the things they don’t do, we think it’s important to highlight the sheer amount of work they complete to keep things running smoothly. They’re not only there to help their clients, but also each other; not a day goes by that our Project Managers aren’t taking time beyond their busy schedules to help one another excel.

We hope it’s becoming clear why we’re so thankful for this stellar crew. As we enter the holiday season, a time of showing friends and family how much we appreciate them, we want our Project Managers to know just how essential and appreciated they are as part of the ModSquad family. We also wanted to give them the opportunity to share what they are grateful for this holiday season:

“I am forever thankful for my puppies and coffee! I wouldn’t be able to get through my days without them!”
—Cassie Daley

“I’m thankful for physical therapy! This year I fixed my back and am currently recovering from a sprained ankle. It might seem rough, but it really made me thankful that even when bad things happen, we have the ability to pick ourselves up and come out better than before.”
—Katie Carson

“It’s hokey, but I’m thankful for ModSquad. Working here gives me a sense of fulfillment, because of the work. It’s not just that though; it allows me to make a living while being home with my children and being able to homeschool them. This is super important to me because I have a child with special needs who needs me to be active in her daily life. ModSquad allows me that ability to be a full Mom, have a plethora of virtual friends, and make a living.”
—Amy Wall

“I have so many things to be thankful for this year. Feeling very thankful for my little haven in the hills of California, my family that keeps me sane, and my position in ModSquad. This work affords me the time to take care of those closest to me and for that, I am truly thankful. Happy holidays!”
—Michael Poe

“I am thankful for ModSquad and the opportunity it gives me to stay at home with my kids, but also do things I enjoy. I have no idea where path my career would have taken me if I hadn’t come across it ten years ago!

“I am thankful for my parents and ex-in-laws (yes, it’s true!) for the support they give me! I am thankful I have the two smartest and coolest kids around. I am not even just saying that. You can ask other people.”
—Tera Tilden

“I’m thankful for the support and partnership that I have from the other managers with whom I work. Whether it’s my Account Manager listening to my suggestions and genuinely caring about my concerns, my fellow Project Managers sharing tips to make a process go a little smoother, or my Assistant Project Managers stepping up and taking things off of my plate when I’ve taken on more than I can finish myself, I am grateful to be a member of a team that consists of not just coworkers, but friends.

“The camaraderie I have experienced makes even the hectic times fun. Project Management can at times feel like a marathon we’re all running together, and it feels great to cheer for my fellow teammates as I know they’re also cheering for me!”
—Rabbit Korbin

“First and foremost, I’m incredibly thankful for my family. I wish words could accurately express how much joy they bring to my life, how happy I am to see them succeed, and how amazing it is to be one of ‘theirs.’ Here’s to you, family. A very-close second, and many days this is a toss-up (if I have to pick up one more dirty sock from the floor – this one might win out), I am incredibly thankful for ModSquad – and not just because of my job, but because some of the people I love the most in this world (besides the aforementioned dirty-sock-bandit), I’ve met while working for this company. They’re smart, strong, and their hearts are a level of good that is so rare in this world. I truly can’t imagine a single-day without them. Here’s to you, Ws.

“Finally, I’m so thankful for the MODS. I’ve been so fortunate to work alongside some of the greatest Mods over the past ten years, but this past year, our projects have had the best of the best. Their work ethic is unmatched, and they inspire us all to do better. Here’s to you, Mods!”
—Michelle Ramage

“My family first and foremost. I am blessed to have amazing parents, a wonderful husband, and two healthy sons! I am also very thankful for the few very close friends that are part of my extended family.

“My job. There are not enough words to explain how blessed I am to work with such an amazing company! I have one very special Account Manager and Project Manager that have mentored me and helped me grow to become a Project Manager myself. I will never be able to express to them just how grateful I am for them and all they have done for me.”
—Erin Lewis
